Abstract Of Project


Aims to modernize news consumption by providing a web-based platform for accessing instant news. Utilizing PHP, MySQL, and XAMPP, the portal offers a user-friendly interface where viewers can access news across various categories such as sports, politics, and entertainment. Admins and employees can upload news content, while viewers can engage through feedback in the comment section. Recent uploads are highlighted in the latest news section, and advertisers have the opportunity to display ads alongside news articles. This project caters to the evolving needs of digital news consumers and aims to enhance user experience and revenue potential.

Installation Instructions

1. Download XAMPP: Get XAMPP from the [https://www.apachefriends.org/...​]

2. Install XAMPP: Run the installer and follow the prompts.

3. Open XAMPP Control Panel: Start the XAMPP Control Panel from your desktop or start menu.

4. Start Apache: Click "Start" in the control panel next to Apache.

5. Open File Explorer: Go to the XAMPP installation directory, usually C:\xampp.

6. Locate htdocs Folder: Find the htdocs folder within the XAMPP directory.

7. Copy Your Files: Copy the files you want to upload to the server.

8. Paste Files in htdocs: Paste the copied files into the htdocs folder.

9. Import 'flashreport.sql' to [http://localhost/phpmyadmin/​] from the database backup folder in Flash Report.

10. Open Web Browser: Launch your web browser.

11. Access Your Files: Type http://localhost/Flash Report/

Following these steps, you will be able to upload and access files in your XAMPP server.
